About
About Exxcellent Engineering
Semiconductor Consultant | Automotive Radar SoC | Program Leader

With nearly three decades of hands-on engineering and leadership experience, we are a senior independent consultancy specialising in Automotive Radar, RF/Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Systems, RFIC, ASIC and SoC design, and cross-functional technical program management.
Exxcellent Engineering was founded in 2018 to bring deep semiconductor expertise and strategic program thinking to complex R&D challenges across the automotive, aerospace, and electronics industries. Our track record spans the entire product lifecycle — from technology roadmaps and architecture definition through ASIC/SoC development, functional safety (ISO 26262 ASIL B), verification, and industrialisation.
Our engineering roots run deep: from Philips Semiconductors/NXP designing RF ICs and power amplifiers, to radar front-end receivers at Hollandse Signaalapparaten/Thales, 60 GHz WLAN transceiver technology at TNO Defence & Safety, and RFIC process optimisation at Infineon Technologies. A career highlight was leading a strategic €50 million Automotive 77 GHz Radar SoC program at Continental for the Audi A8 — delivering a Single-Chip Radar platform under ISO 26262 ASIL B requirements.
Today, Exxcellent Engineering serves as the central technical and managerial interface between management, OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, design partners, and development teams — translating complex technical realities into sound decisions.
